THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH - Free Film Opportunity!
Posted by Cloud Ten Pictures in apocalypse, cloud ten pictures, left behind, paul lalonde, rapture on Wednesday, November 4, 2009
The concept of a rapture of the church is a controversial topic among Christians around the world.
The rapture of the saints is in keeping with the pre-tribulation viewpoint of the end times.
The word "rapture" itself is not found in Scripture, but the concept itself is found within the pages of 1 Thessalonians 4. It is found in the Apostle Paul's writing in verse 17.
The words which are translated into English as "caught up" is translated from the Greek word harpazo which literally means to carry away, carry off, snatch up or grasp in a hastened manner.
So how did we go from harpazo to rapture? Well the answer lies in the Latin translation. When the Scriptures were translated into Latin, the Greek word harpazo became the Latin word raptus.
English scholars used the term rapture to describe this "snatching up" as a raptor takes it's prey. This is conveyed in verse 17. English speaking theologians then took the term "rapture" to describe this "carrying away" of the saints.
In accordance with this viewpoint, the rapture is a real time event that will take place in the near future. Jesus will return in the air and snatch up His church from the Earth then return to Heaven with His bride.
Cloud Ten Pictures takes the pre-tribulation rapture viewpoint and has made more rapture, end-times, and eschatology based films than any other film production company.
Our LEFT BEHIND Series and our APOCALYPSE series (4 films: APOCALYPSE, REVELATION, TRIBULATION, and JUDGMENT) feature Kirk Cameron, Lou Gossett Jr., Gary Busey, Mr. T. and Howie Mandel.
All of these films deal with the rapture of the saints in a cinematic and moving way. I would encourage you to click on the titles of the films above and watch the trailers.
Have you seen our films? If not, let me give you an opportunity to see them for free.
Here is a trivia question for you:
According to the Book of Revelation, how many servants of God were sealed in their foreheads from the Tribe of Dan?
The first person to comment here on my blog with the correct answer will win the APOCALYPSE SERIES (that's all 4 DVD movies).
If you don't win here, there is another way to become a winner.

None, Dan is not listed

In the book of Revelation, Dan is not listed. He is omitted. Dan isn’t listed because he doesn’t need to be sealed. Therefore my answer would have to be zero.

The tribe of Manasses is the tribe of Dan and in the tribe of Manasses, 12,000 were sealed with the mark of God.
There were twelve tribes and in each tribe, 12,000 were sealed with the mark of God.
This makes it a total of 144,000.
