Paul Lalonde - The Man At Cloud Ten Pictures

Allow me to introduce you to my friend and boss.. the owner and chairman of Cloud Ten Pictures... Mr. Paul Lalonde.
Paul is a visionary with a wacky sense of humor and a huge heart.
What would Paul say about Cloud Ten? He would tell you that we are a very progressive, edgy and cool company with a desire to impact the world for Christ through film. He would also readily tell you that we are always on the lookout for new projects and talent.

What can I tell you about him? Well, there is much I can tell you. First off, he is a servant of the Christ and a family man. He has been married for over two decades and has two children, a dog named Cozmo, and 4 cats.

Paul is also a HUGE hockey fan. Yes, he grows a playoff beard every season that his team is in the playoffs.

Paul dedicates his life to getting the Gospel of Christ out to the world through film, but I have to tell you that he does it with a sense of humor. It is a fact that Paul took his RV to a shoot for one of our films and put "TOM CRUISE" on the side of it. Then he just watched and enjoyed the reactions of the people who went by.

Paul Lalonde is a blessing to Cloud Ten, as our figurehead and a true visionary. There is so much going on at Cloud Ten Pictures that I talk about on my blog... now you get to meet the man behind the vision.

I am sure I am not the only one that would enjoy hearing the personal story of how Paul came to be a servant of God. Was spreading the word through film something Paul always dreamed of or was there a particular moment in his life that stands out among others? How has his faith guided him in what must be a very time consuming business and also within his family?

If one included persons who influenced their lives, and 'amde a difference' as part of their personal blessings, then, I would have to say Paul was/is a blessing. My sister and I were adopted by a caring, giving family in the summer of 1968, and it was our great fortune, to move into a home in North Bay, across the street from the Lalonde family. I have many memories of Paul and his family. The ones that stand out for me the most were: Paul's patient efforts at teaching me how to skate .. I was a slow and reluctant learner .. but Paul was kind .. and tolerant .. and I did learn how to skate .. Paul and his brother Peter were our neighbourhood hero's .. along with Arthur and Robin and several others .. the 'youngster's' in our neighbourhood looked to them for guidance and approval .. whether Paul consciously accepted that God was present in his life at that time .. I can't be certain .. but .. in retrospect .. I can see that God's Holy Spirit was there .. working through Paul .. and for that .. my life was and still is blessed .. thank you Paul.
